Matt Riddle was amongst a gup of WWE Superstars to get released from their contracts, and as of today their non compete clause had come to any end. Matt Riddle was quick to move on from the WWE.

Announced on the MLW Twitter, Matt Riddle has signed with the promotion and his return match will be against Jacob Fatu at the King of the Coliseum event, at the 2300 Arena, in Philadelphia on the Saturday 6th June 2024.

Prior to his release Matt Riddle was a former WWE United States Champion and a former tag team champion in RKBro alongside Randy Orton.
