Chris Jericho had a backstage segment on AEW dynamite last night, during the segment he confirmed that Kenny Omega had come down with a case of diverticulitis and will be out of action indefinitely.

Chris Jericho spoke sincerely wishing Kenny Omega a recovery, before announcing that The Golden Jets will no linger be wrestling for the tag team championships at World’s End.

Omega and Chris Jericho were due to face off against the team of AEW World’s Tag Team Champions, Ricky Starks and Big Bill at the PPV on the 30th December. Although, Jericho did confirm The Golden Jets will roll again when Omega is fully recovered.
